- Polish and Spanish are both phonetic languages, so pronunciation comes naturally. Grammar is another story.
- The Polish community organizes Wigilia (Christmas Eve) and other cultural events. Check Facebook groups in November.
- Polish shops with familiar products (Zywiec, Tyskie, kabanosy) exist in several Barcelona neighborhoods.
- Spanish bureaucracy will remind you of Polish urzad visits, but with more sunshine and longer waits.
- Barcelona is 2-3 hours by plane from Warsaw or Krakow. Budget airlines make weekend trips home easy.
