Les Corts
Locally known as les Corts
Les Corts is the neighborhood where Spotify Camp Nou towers over residential streets, and on match days the entire area transforms into a river of blue and garnet scarves and jerseys. Outside of football season, though, this is one of Barcelona's most solidly middle-class residential areas. L'Illa Diagonal shopping center provides everything from Zara to organic groceries, and the local streets are filled with pharmacies, bakeries, and family restaurants that have served the neighborhood for years. Two-bedrooms average EUR 1,450, and the L3 metro connects you to the center via Les Corts and Placa del Centre stations. The neighborhood has strong traditions - the Festa Major is a genuine community event, not a tourist attraction - and the walkability is excellent for daily life. It is quieter than Eixample and less prestigious than Pedralbes, which makes it the sweet spot for expat families who want good services, safety, and community without the extreme premium of the Zona Alta neighborhoods above.
